26 miles across the three highest mountains in the Yorkshire Dales.

You will leave Horton in Ribblesdale at 7am to climb Pen Y Ghent, the first of the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

Once you have hit the summit, you will descend then cross the moors, following the Ribble Way, where you will see the amazing structure of the Ribblehead Viaduct, subject of the ITV Drama ‘Jericho’, following the Settle to Carlisle railway. Here you will commence your climb up the second peak, Whernside.

Once you have hit the summit of Whernside, you will descend and cross farmland to the final peak Ingleborough. Once you have summited Ingleborough you have a 4 mile descent back to Horton in Ribblesdale, where the local hostelries will gladly serve you refreshments to celebrate your success.

It will be hard, but it will be an experience that you will never, ever forget.

Therefore, if you want something to push you out of your comfort zone, then this is it!! It truly is one of the most amazing days ever.

We really hope you can join us.

Dear Rick and Rachel, can members come on this walk even if they are not intending to do the 3 peaks challenge (at a wedding on 3 peaks weekend!)?

I absolutely love the Three Peaks Challenge – it is very special to me – and I am so happy that we have agreed to make this an annual event!

Hi Rachel
I will be there on Sunday, really looking forward to it. Will be a good test as I don’t like edges/steep slopes but I’ve heard how some people felt the same last time you did the 3 peaks and how others helped them overcome their fears. I’m traveling with Helen Monks. See you soon. Michelle

Please can I ask for a lift off someone I don’t know how to get there I’m happy to drive if someone else wants a lift but knows how to get there
Thanks

I am sure if you post in the facebook group nearer the time there will be someone near to you who you can jump in with. If not you can come with me x

Oh I love this!

Always a role for David driving the Milly’s Smiles van which we’ll be using for the support vehicle. Lorraine will be providing the medical support in that vehicle so he’ll have company ❤️🐝💪
