Be Strong Kebab

Who doesn’t love a kebab take away on a Friday night.  And, the Be Strong kebab has to be the best kind of fake away. Don’t just save it for Friday night – at around 300 calories you can have it every day of the week if you want!

This recipe has two options, you can either have the chicken and salad in a tortilla wrap or a pitta – whatever your preference, just make the adjustment to your calories.

Description

Lowest calorie kebab you will ever have!


Ingredients

Scale

Tortilla wrap or pitta bread

Handful of mixed salad leaves

1 salad tomato

Slices of cucumber

Slices of red onion

2 tsp peri peri sauce

1/2 a cooked chicken breast


Instructions

  1. Take a large tortilla wrap (183 cals) or pitta bread (140 cals).
  2. Place on the bottom a good handful of mixed salad leaves, a sliced salad tomato, 3 or 4 slices of cucumber, and some slices of red onion. (approx. 30 cals)
  3. In a bowl mix 4 or 5 pieces of cooked chicken breast (which is about half a cooked chicken breast – 100 cals) and mix it with two teaspoons of peri peri sauce – whichever heat you prefer (10 cals)
  4. Add the chicken and sauce mixture to the salad and tortilla or pitta – roll and serve!

Served in a pitta this recipe is 290 calories

Served in a tortilla wrap this recipe is 323 calories
