Description

Delicious, oaty, banana goodness

Ingredients

Scale

300g Porridge Oats
2.5 small bananas
75g Chocolate Chips (I chose dark chocolate)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract/ Essence

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C
  2. Unpeel the bananas and mash them in a bowl until they are a soft and uniform texture.
  3. Add Vanilla Extract for added flavour
  4. Add the 300g of porridge oats into the banana and vanilla mixture.
  5. Add the chocolate chips- I chose dark chocolate for a rich, chocolatey flavour.
  6. Once mixed together, mould into 12 cookies.
  7. Bake in the oven at 180 C for 10 minutes.

Notes

I ate mine as a pudding with either a low-calorie yoghurt or a little bit of squirty cream.  Some I had as an afternoon snack as they are quite filling.
