The walk for August will take in the woodland and countryside of Clayton Le moors, Great Harwood and Altham, parts of the River Ribble and the newly reopened Martholme Viaduct. This will be a relatively flat 4 mile walk over woodland and farm tracks, with views of Pendle and Whalley Nab. Sturdy footwear is essential.
Meet at 10 am, Sunday 18th August 2019, Wilson Playing Fields, Clayton Hall Drive, Clayton Le Moors, BB5 5SG.
The walk should last no more than 2 hours.
All are welcome with family and friends. Sturdy prams with big wheels (not buggies) will be OK on this walk, as there are no stiles.
