Warm Feta Salad

Feta cheese is delicious warm or cold, and is considerably lower in calories than regular cheese – 279 calories compared to over 400 calories per 100g. The salty feta combined with the cumin in this recipe makes for a taste explosion in your mouth! The key to a great salad is lots of different textures, not just plain old iceberg lettuce and a few bits of cucumber. Description

Cumin spiced feta on top of your favourite salad, delicious as a light lunch or evening meal.


Ingredients

100g feta

Ground cumin

Olive oil spray

Jalapeño

Salad


Instructions

  1. Place feta in foil and sprinkle with ground cumin.
  2. Wrap as parcel and bake for 20 minutes at 190c
  3. Prepare the salad as you like it with a sprinkling of jalapeños, a spritz of olive oil and a squeeze of lime juice. Sprinkle with fresh coriander.
